ICANN has given a nod to 2 new domain extentions. .mobi for mobile phone corporations like Nokia, and .jobs for human resources. But before you get ready to try and reserve a .jobs extention...the official adoption process could take a while and there would be no guarentee that the domains would be accepted. We'll wait and see.
So the story I mentioned yesterday about Verizion bidding for Sprint may not follow through....at least not 'officially' yet. One of Verizon's partners, Vodafone, has denied rumors that Verizion is trying to buy out Sprint.
Could this be the death knell of the CRT monitor? According to this LCD monitors have surpassed CRT monitors in sells. I still have my CRT monitor...it suits me fine too.
