Chattanooga Mayor's Race

Yeah...as most of you notice...I'm not talking about the mayor's race. Personally, I would have liked to see Dan Johnson win, but since he didn't I don't really care who wins. Who ever does, I hope that they would encourage more tech companies to come to Chattanooga. I doubt it though.

Honestly, I didn't like Dan Johnson. I guess this is my 'libertarianism' shining through, but he was too much of a schmuck to me. I like a personality in a candidate. Johnson was a CPA (or still is?), and for a city such as Chattanooga, I don't like a CPA for the guy who controls this city. He'll focus on cutting spending and hurting the little man. That's great in my opinion on a National level, but in a city as prosperous as Chattanooga with so much active development going on, there's no need for that. Tax revenues are as plentiful as ever, and that is only coming from the development we've seen the past 10+ years. I think Johnson would hinder that, which would hinder our economy. I like Coulter because she's not only been involved in that development, but she seems to know what do to do encourage it. And let's not forget, Dan Johnson is the CPA who had to file for bankruptcy. And Littlefield is a total schmuck. GIve me a break. I didn't like his lack of ideas before, now I hate them even more because Johnson is supporting him. Cut taxes, help small business, promote development, and look towards the future -- that's what Ann Coulter is going to do for our city. Hope she wins the runoff.
