Karl Rove Tells The Truth About Liberals

Hmm....why is it that the Democrats are getting so angry about Karl Rove's statements? He spoke of liberals and conservatives....and another thing...if Hillary is such a "moderate" then the speech given by Karl Rove shouldn't even bother her...unless she really is *gasp* a liberal. Let's just take a look at what Karl said:

"Liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers." Conservatives, he said, "saw the savagery of 9/11 and the attacks and prepared for war."

Now...let's take a look at a petition written by David Pickering:

"We, the undersigned, citizens and residents of the United States of America and of countries around the world, appeal to the President of The United States, George W. Bush; to the NATO Secretary General, Lord Robertson; to the President of the European Union, Romano Prodi; and to all leaders internationally to use moderation and restraint in responding to the recent terrorist attacks against the United States. We implore the powers that be to use, wherever possible, international judicial institutions and international human rights law to bring to justice those responsible for the attacks, rather than the instruments of war, violence or destruction.

Furthermore, we assert that the government of a nation must be presumed separate and distinct from any terrorist group that may operate within its borders, and therefore cannot be held unduly accountable for the latter's crimes. It follows that the government of a particular nation should not be condemned for the recent attack without compelling evidence of its co-operation and complicity with those individuals who actually committed the crimes in question.

Innocent civilians living within any nation that may be found responsible, in part or in full, for the crimes recently perpetrated against the United States, must not bear any responsibility for the actions of their government, and must therefore be guaranteed safety and immunity from any military or judicial action taken against the state in which they reside.

Lastly and most emphatically, we demand that there be no recourse to nuclear, chemical or biological weapons, or any weapons of indiscriminate destruction, and feel that it is our inalienable human right to live in a world free from the use of such arms."

And MoveOn.org's petition:

"Our leaders are under tremendous pressure to act in the aftermath of the terrible events of Sept. 11th. We the undersigned support justice, not escalating violence, which would only play into the terrorists' hands:
'In bringing terrorists to justice, the U.S. must commit to protecting innocent civilians everywhere and ending the cycle of violence.'"

David Pickering (the guy who wrote the petition and posted it on 9-11Peace.org, which is no longer in existance) is a liberal and MoveOn.org is a liberal interest group. If you read the statements above...you should notice that they are wanting to arrest these terrorists and try them in our court system. Isn't that exactly what Karl Rove said?

As the Talkmaster, Neal Boortz, said..."You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you mad." Looks like the looney left is making that statement look even more true than ever before.

The case against the Taliban was convincingly made, and our country was NOT divided about the invasion of Afghanistan. Of course you will find some on the far left, like Pacifica Radio, who still disagree.

But our nation was united. We are no longer. Lies regarding Iraq split us.
