What Does 2006 Have In Store?
You know, I usually know what I want to talk about when I open up a new post, but for some reason today I'm not exactly sure what to say. It's a new year, but to me I just don't feel that much difference from last year and this year. I'm betting by March to July I'll feel differently. Why? Well, my best friend in the whole world is going to be a father this March and he will be leaving to go to boot camp for the United States Air Force. I'm so proud of him. Please pray for him and his soon-to-be-wife. Speaking of babies, I have another friend who will be a father soon. Geoffrey and Betty Climer are expecting a baby. This year is when my best friends in the whole world are graduating from high school. Some will be leaving town to go off to college, a few may hang around. As with a lot of high schoolers...they don't know what they want to do ;). What does 2006 have in store for me? I wish I knew, but I'm not sure. My set course right now is to be at Dalton State for my Bachelor's degree, but I haven't decided if I will transfer out. Right now I'm a Management Information Systems major. For those who didn't read about it earlier, I changed my major at the end of the fall semester because I saw that engineering was not exactly what I wanted to do in life. Though engineering pays well, I think something in the IT field would be something fulfilling my career goal, but for now I'll just take it one day at a time.
