I believe that the new release of GNOME will be with the new version of Ubuntu. I'm excited about the Dapper Drake release myself. Looks like some pretty cool stuff will be released along with it.

Xor 7.0+XGL+Compiz
flight 4 has been painfree so far, I am runnig it on a dell insperion 3800 laptop. Only 1 fubar so far(killall)
I am excited about this one myself.
