Now Russia is beginning to rebuild their forces claiming that they're doing so because they're wanting to counter us?
Hmm...I've been weary of Russia for a while, especially when Putin took over as president. Sounds like this might be a restart of the Cold War. I say we ready the the rods from God as soon as possible.

There was a lot of talk during the 1980s of Reagan's "Star Wars" program. We made it through and did not have to develop the program. Diplomatic relations with Gorbachev did work and we were able to end the cold war. Everybody is getting such itchy trigger fingers, I don't think we need to ramp up the rhetoric quite yet. The France-Iraq connection is a old story. American relations with Russia need to improve and I don't think building up a arms race is the way to go at this point.
