Lock-step Liberal Democrats

Remember, if you're a Democrat that is for defending America against radical Islam...your party has abandoned you. Just ask Joe.

Liberals have not been support by the second corporate party since FDR. That hasn't changed. Of course the republicraps have blood on thier hands, but why be picky, a vote is a vote right. The corporate parties seem to have a stranglehold on dollars though.
So who would jesus bomb, nat ?

Or is that question radical christianity ?

The greens still embrace peace, and christ's mission.

"The corporate parties seem to have a stranglehold on dollars though."
Look at the money that Ned Lamont has. He created a cable company and has a net worth of $90M. I AM NOT saying that money corrupts people, because it doesn't. But after everyone vilified Bush for having limited political experience and money, then they go and do the same thing. To me, that's ironic. I hope a quick fix works for you.

The vote in conn. had nothing to do with money,Even the dems. have had a belly full of these centerist?? like liebermann.
My comments are just the opposite, unlike republicrats or demoplicans, greens have a clear set of principles. No corporate money in politics. Check our website gp.org.

Actually, repealing the 16th amendment (income tax) and replacing it with the FairTax in addition to repealing the 17th amendment (direct election of Senators) would probably clean up a bit of this. I don't think I could/would ever vote for anyone who would advocate rendering the United States defenseless. Peace through strength does work, just ask the Soviet Union.

So you think we need to spend more on defense? And don't let the facts get in your way Nathan. How much more? name a number. That's 522 billion now plus how much more? China (the next nearest spends 61.5 billion,. We spend more annualy than the next 50 of them put together. We have plenty of bombs, I think.
What we don't have is leadership! Instead we are buried in a sea of red by corporate and government interests that couldn't care less about the average joe.

Playing with the constitution won't address the problem. It will let the rich get richer.(Maybe this is not the forum for low wage (high waste) conservative discussions.) If tax reform favors the bottom and middle then I will vote/campaign for it.The corporate share of taxes has fallen from 33% in the 1940s to 7% today, while the individual share has risen from 44% to 85%. Institute the Tobin tax.

or a bit closer to home Tenneseans for Fair Taxation.

The senatorial problem could easily be addressed by public election financing and IRV. Get the corporations OUT of politics.

Yes, rich get richer while screwing the poor...blah, blah, and blah. When was the last time a guy on welfare gave you a job? Mind you, I'm not rich and neither is my family, but I'm working hard to do better than my parents and I hope my children (if I'm blessed with them) will do better than me. Read The FairTax book, read the legislation. This will benefit the poor (the more you buy, the more you will pay in taxes) in addition to stimulating the economy making us an economic dynamo. Both conservative and liberals support the FairTax.

Ned Lamont used $2.5M of his own money during this campaign already. Personally, I have no problem with that, only non-republicans have a problem with money.

Right, the low wage, high waste, send it off shore, mountain of debt failed conservative republican approach. Didn't you get the memo, "supply side doesn't work.(less your part of the 1%)
investigate ?
