Well...we just ordered a laptop for me for college. I know back in the past I would have laughed if you told me that eMachines would come out with an awesome machine like the M6805...and to go further and tell me that I would actually buy one...I would laugh like a maniac. Well, I'm now eating my words (tasty). Anyway, a 64-bit processor from AMD isn't much to scoff at...plus an ATI Radeon 9600 Pro (64MB of dedicated video RAM) and 512 MB of system RAM. You can see what this critter is chocked full of here. That's the goods for now.

That party at the Starrgate Café was awesome! Dustin, Caleb, Chris, Shaun, Travis, John, me, and a few other people when there to celebrate Dustin's birthday. I suck at playing XBox I admit...but I am fairly good at playing Halo on PC :) Anyway, I drank 3 bottles of Bawls, have a tin of Penguin mints (caffeinated mints)...drop one into a bottle of Bawls for some fizzy blue Bawls ;) Let's see...I bought 6 hours (2 for the price of 1 special...good stuff) for $15...that's pretty good...so...I have about 2 hours @ the CyberLAN and 5 hours and 46 minutes left at the Starrgate...I'm set I think. Hopefully our little posse can go back there soon...that place is awesome.

Ya know...I've said in the past that I've wanted a girlfriend...but so far I've been doing good by myself. No one to worry about me, I can do pretty much anything, and I'm pretty much in charge of my day-to-day decisions. I feel for my friends who can't get over each other and let well enough alone and just move on with there lives. They are going to end up worse off...thought they are assuring me that it won't be...but I digress. Anyway, I guess I've never really considered the advantages of being single.

I guess people around my age (15-18) think about the future that much. I, on the other hand, am starting to think about it alot. Let's see where I want to see myself 10 years down the road...in 2014

Graduate of Georgia Tech (Computer Engineering degree)
At least 5 IT certifications under my belt.
A job that pays well and I like to do.
That special someone...may get married in a few years (who knows)
May stay here...move to a bigger city in the future

Now...let me list my goals for the next 10 years.
Graduate college (hopefully GA Tech) with a Computer Engineering degree

Earn A+, Network+, Cisco Certified Associate, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, and Linux+ Certifications

Might get a girlfriend in among the madness I mentioned above.

Keep Geekville alive until I can no longer devote time to it..or just get tired of it

Just keep those in mind...

Well...today was alright I guess. The thing that we are doing in Physics is due next Friday...maybe we can get that shtuff ready. Anyway, its a secret project (wink, wink...nudge nudge). So...this is exciting...too exciting. Well I'm out...2 months 'til I graduate...excitement. Now, lets see what havoc I can cause.

I know I was originally going to host my blog on my computer...I figured that it might be a slight security risk. I don't like that kind of stuff.
