Venting feels good...

You know what...it does feel good to vent a few times. I normally don't vent and do stuff like that...but I think its like an oil change. Of course...we as humans don't have oil...and our emotional state can change from day to day...or hour to hour...maybe even minute by minute...but I digress. Anyway, I was talking to my friend Melissa about the subject...and I guess I got stuff off of my chest...but she told me that I was being too uptight and just needed to relax and go with the flow. Normally I do that...but maybe its because of graduation and maybe I'm getting anxious...too anxious perhaps? Anyway, what would I do without my Melissa?? I'd probably still be uptight and having my anxiousness build up alot. Anyway, me and a few friends are planning on going to the Starrgate the day after graduation (yes...that's how you spell it) and might spend the night @ someone's house...PARTY ALL NIGHT!!!!

Taking the big plunge

Well....I'm about to take the big plunge and install the Windows XP Service Pack 2 Release Candidate 1....still in testing. I'm thinking....why not. Might as well see if it will work. Probably won't make XP any safer. Oh well...wish me luck.

Oh boy!!!

I finally got my license! (applause) I know...I"m lazy...but now I have my license. Went to the Starrgate last night...kicked butt against my friends on Halo on PC...I might be going back to Starrgate tonight. Yeah, prom is tonight...but I don't like those "formal" gatherings....

This never gets old...

gore-net.jpg

That's good stuff right there...

Let the facts show...

This is very interesting...and true...

Worst president in history?

(The following appeared in the Durham, NC local paper as a letter to the editor.

Liberals claim President Bush shouldn't have started this war.
They complain about his prosecution of it.
One liberal recently claimed Bush was the worst president in U.S. history.

Let's clear up one point: President Bush didn't start the war on terror.
Try to remember, it was started by terrorists BEFORE 9/11.
Let's look at the "worst" president and mismanagement claims.

FDR led us into World War II.
Germany never attacked us: Japan did.
From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost,
an average of 112,500 per year.

Truman finished that war and started one in Korea.
North Korea never attacked us.
From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost,
an average of 18,333 per year.

John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962.
Vietnam never attacked us.
Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire.
From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost,
an averag! e of 5,800 per year.

Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent.
Bosnia never attacked us.
He was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a platter three times by Sudan and did nothing.
Osama has attacked us on multiple occasions.
Over 2,900 lives lost on 9/11.

In the two years since terrorists attacked us,
President Bush has liberated two countries,
rushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida,
put nuclear inspectors in Lybia, Iran and North Korea without firing a shot,
captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people.
We lost 600 soldiers, an average of 300 a year.
Bush did all this abroad while not allowing another terrorist attack at home.

Worst president in history? Come on!

The Democrats are complaining about how long the war is taking, but...

It took less time to take Iraq
than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian compound.
That was a 51 day operation.

We've been looking for evidence of chemical weapons in Iraq for less time
than it took Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing records.

It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard
than it took Teddy Kennedy to call the police after his Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick.

It took less time to take Iraq
than it took to count the votes inFlorida!!!!

Our military is GREAT! PASS IT ON.

Hmm...no one is on...

I always thought I wasn't a "people person"...but I guess I'm more of a "people person" than I thought. No one is on...and that does make me feel lonely. I guess I've never really thought of it. I think I scared someone off...and Raven isn't talking. Maybe everyone is busy. Man, I do need a life!

Perhaps If We Built a Large Wooden Badger....

In my kind of work....wait...I don't work...ok, my hobby is going around and looking at tech stories and politcal stories and posting them on Mays' blog. Today while on TechTV's site I saw an interesting story on how the wonderful MacOS X has its first trojan...(I'm not knocking Macs or anything...I think there awesome....I'm just a PC guy myself.) Anyway, I posted that story on Mays' blog and I don't think he is either happy or hasn't come around to the fact that Apple and the Unix operating system isn't perfect either...though...1.5 septillion times more secure than Windows. Anyway, that's all right now.
