You're Naming it What?!?!

This is hopefully my last G4 rant from now on. The dolts at Comcast have decided to change the name of The Screen Savers to...get ready for this...Attack of the Show. Wow! Who in marketing thought of that? That has got to be one of the most stupid and idiotic names ever conceived!!! You'll have a week to bid TSS goodbye as they are going to be changing the name on March 28th. Anyway, I'll probably be changing a few things on my web page for links to G4. Ok, that feels better.

Not Your Generic Type of Update

Ok, maybe not. I went to the East Tennessee School Band and Orchestra Association Concert Festival yesterday (long name, eh?) to watch Ridgeland perform. Unfortunately...they scored straight II's (on the scale of I - III [with 1 being the best]), but I thought they did a fantastic job. They played one of my favorite pieces...Great Gate of Kiev from the larger piece Pictures at an Exhibition by Modest Mussorgsky. Let's see...met a pretty cool girl there too. She's from up near Knoxville...medium distance I guess. Been installing Windows XP Pro on my laptop...always fun. The hardware on eMachines didn't exactly play nice when I was trying to reinstall the drivers, but I won. Ok, I think this is enough for an update. Oh, by the way Geoffrey has a new blog. So go check that out...now!

Chattanooga Mayor's Race

Yeah...as most of you notice...I'm not talking about the mayor's race. Personally, I would have liked to see Dan Johnson win, but since he didn't I don't really care who wins. Who ever does, I hope that they would encourage more tech companies to come to Chattanooga. I doubt it though.

Whew...

Man...I'm beat. I went to the state capitol today with the Dalton State College Republicans. It was fun. Got to meet with legislators around our area and got to meet Gov. Sonny Purdue. We also had our picture made with them. Sorry for the lack of posting. It's be very hectic these past few weeks. I'm just glad that spring break is next week. Alright, enough for now.
