Immigrant Protest on May Day??
Isn't it odd how these illegal aliens are protesting on May Day, a day that communists/socialists celebrate?
Something doesn't smell right.

The bulls still continue to rule.

I would like to share with you a few words of wisdom from Dr. Mike S. Adams.
“It is time for those of us who are tired of the diversity movement to come up with our own definition of racism. Racism is best defined as a pathological tendency to interject race into situations where it is not relevant, merely for personal gain."“Wealthy people sometimes accept Marxism, not because it has ever worked, but because they feel guilty about having more than other people. But, more often, it is accepted by those with less who are angry, usually because they lack the talent and drive to succeed in a capitalist society. This realization often occurs at a ten-year high school reunion after they see people with less schooling and fewer degrees but with more money than they have. They don't want to compete with these people. They just want the IRS take their wealth and redistribute it against their will under the threat of incarceration. They also like to call conservatives fascists."
“A liberal once told me that I should abandon conservatism because it is degrading for an educated man to set such low standards for himself. I reminded him that I used to be a liberal. I simply told him ‘I’ve upped my standards, now up yours.’”
“Some people think I am opposed to the National Day of Silence. That isn’t true. There’s nothing like a day without homosexual whining. Right now, I’m trying to talk them into a Nation[al] Year of Silence.”And my favorite:"Self-pity and gratitude are mortal enemies. Where one exists the other cannot. Since both are highly contagious, individuals must choose gratitude before becoming too thankless to do otherwise."
“When I am hunting and I know I see a deer in the brush, I pull the trigger. When I know it is a human, I hold my fire. When I don’t know, I also hold my fire. The feminist who doesn’t know whether it a fetus is a person, has the abortion anyway. In other words, she just pulls the trigger. Nonetheless, feminists still feel they are morally superior to hunters.”
“Our college campuses have become the last safe haven of Marxists, largely because its adherents have never had to survive in the real world, much less in a communist dictatorship. Indeed, there are more communists teaching in the State of North Carolina than there are in the former Soviet Union.”
“Over the last couple of years, I’ve been tying to see things from a liberal perspective. Unfortunately, I can’t get my head that far up my ass. I guess it takes a lot of flexibility to be a liberal. It also takes a considerable lack of backbone.”
“Marxism is an emotional disorder, not a political philosophy.”
“George W. Bush has done more for women’s rights than any president in modern history. But feminists hate him because he is opposed to abortion rights. Bill Clinton sexually harassed more women than any president in American history. But that’s okay. He supports abortion rights so feminists love him. If he were ever convicted of rape, feminists would still love him because he supports abortion rights.”
“I think that many people who are pro choice are glad that they were born before 1973. Otherwise, they might not be able to make choices. I’m just glad my parents were pro-life.”
“Just remember that Jesus didn’t die on the cross for you to run from what is right. And war heroes didn’t die on the battlefield for you to cower away while this country is destroyed.”
“Feminists often justify abortion by saying that the procedure is no different than picking a scab. That’s when I start asking questions. I often ask feminists about a film I saw of a fetus in the so-called first trimester of development. The baby was yawning, rubbing its eyes, and even rolling around and playing in the womb. I like to ask feminists whether they have ever seen a scab yawn.”
"If you are easily offended by free speech on campus, I have just the solution: Get the hell out of college.”
“Like Marxism, liberalism is not really a political philosophy. Instead, it is a state of arrested emotional development. It is a way of thinking, which leads to no place in the real world. It is a place existing only in the imagination.”
“I abandoned the Democratic party for a very simple reason: Republican women are simply more attractive than Democratic women.”
Surprise, surprise, surprise. Our national congress is feeding off the economical ignorance of the public and are threatening to levy taxes on oil companies for making "obscene profits". Now, if you've read The FairTax Book, which is in paperback now, you understand that corporations are only an instrument in making money. They don't pay taxes, they only funnel that tax money to the federal, state, and local government.
If there is an increase in taxes on oil companies there will be a couple of possibilites: 1.) price of gas goes up even faster due to the taxes being passed on to customers or 2.) supply of gas goes down further due to the greater cost of production creating a shortage and raising prices.
I would not doubt that members of congress will call for a price cap on gas prices when they reach the $4 mark. Actually, when inflation is factored in we're not paying near as much for gas as back in the 1970s.
People speak of conservation. This is an excellent idea, but I don't think people will actually start to conserve until the prices reach that point where people will trade in the Hummers and ginormous F-350s for something more fuel efficient. Gas prices are obviously not high enough for people if they can still drive their SUVs. Maybe if we all do like Josiah and get scooters...
Oil is over $70 and now there are spot gas shortages. Hmm...obviously Bush's fault. I mean, he's in cahoots with the evil oil corporations. The oil companies are making HUGELY OBSCENE profits and screwing the po' man. Ignore what people say about how the profit margins are shrinking. What do economists and business people know anyway? They're trying to screw people out of money too. People who drive the huge urban assault vehicles (read SUVs) are not to blame either. I mean, they have to protect their family in case they're in a crash with a mid-size sedan. So what if it takes $100 to fill up their tank? They have the right to moan and complain about the high gas prices because they have to protect their family, right? Environmentalists aren't to blame either because they're trying to protect the one-legged pink egret from being destroyed by the big, bad, evil oil companies. We all know that oil companies hate the environment. Environmentalists always have the public's interests at heart.
It's obviously Bush's fault and the Republican Congress's fault that gas prices are high. Not only is it their fault for high gas prices, but they're trying to screw the environment by trying to drill in ANWR. Sure, we want to end our dependance on foreign oil, but we obviously can't destroy the environment.
It's sad that a lot of economically-ignorant Americans think this way...

I can't remember if I've put this up before.
Some of you may be thinking to yourself "who the crap is Eric Whitacre?" Well, I would say that he is one of my favorite all-time composers and probably my favorite band composer (though Gustav Holst, J.P. Sousa, and Donald Grantham come in very close). Well, one of my friends told me that Eric Whitacre has a Myspace account. My first reaction was "What?", then I though "Holy geez...that's freakin' awesome!" Anyway, "Sleep" was probably my most favorite piece that I've played throughout my high school career.
Even though he has the choral version on his Myspace, I recommend that you listen to it. The chords towards the climax of the piece will send chills down your spine (in the good sense). It really is an awesome work. Go here and be amazed!
Now, if you're not either a natural born citizen or a naturalized citizen, why should you have "civil rights" protected under the US Constitution?
If you're going to come here, assimulate into our society. Don't force us to conform to your former country's culture. This is our home, you play by our rules.
Let's say you have an apartment complex. How would you feel if someone decided to take up residence in an apartment and avoided paying you? When you confronted him about not only breaking in and living in your apartment building for free he says "Oh I have the 'right' to be here." Not only does he say that, but what if he decides to take to the streets to "protest" saying that you're violating his right to be in your apartment building. What would you do? Would you just let him stay for free, or would you use the rule of law and have him arrested for breaking and entering?
Why should we give free amnesty to law breakers? Wouldn't this be a slap in the face to those who have struggled to come here legally?
I am a business person. I love the free market system, but I hate it when businesses (both big and small) break the law and knowingly hire illegal aliens. These businesses should be punished harsly. I like Wal-Mart, but if they hire illegals knowingly (and there are reports they do) they should be punished for it. Not a set fine but maybe a percentage of their gross profit (how about 30 to 40%). If businesses knew that it would suddenly be unprofitable to hire illegal aliens it may not stop it in its tracks but it certainly would help.
Do we really need more laws? Probably not, we just need to enforce the ones we currently have. I am for immigration as long as it is legal, they have respect for our culture, learn to speak English, and assimulate into society. Does this make me intolerant of other cultures? No, I just believe if you're going to be coming to my country I expect you to learn the language and respect our culture. Does this mean that they can't practice their own culture? No. I don't care if you practice it in your home; what you do there is your own business.
I have more to say, but I think I've gotten my point across.
The mainstream media must be unbiased. I mean, they hire an anti-war protester who says that the Iraq War was based on lies...even though a general under Hussein said that they were exporting weapons out of Iraq before the start of the war.
On an unrelated note, have you heard the latest out about the embarrasment of the state of Georgia (aka Cynthia McKinney)? It never stops. Now her new "body guard" has harrassed a cameraman from Cox in Atlanta. It's on Boortz's website so go over there and read it today at Boortz.com
